The Best Summer Movies of All Time, Week 7: Jour de Fête and A Night at the Opera

Summer Film Fest Week 7
Things got a little heavy last week, what with Jaws and In The Heat of the Night. So, this week, we’re showing playful movies with a projector out on the back deck, movies that we could never go a summer without laughing over: Tati’s Jour de Fête and the Marx Brothers’ A Night at the Opera. Of course, we can easily see this turning into a quadruple bill, adding Tati’s more popular summer classic, Mr. Hulot’s Holiday, and any number of Marx Brother’s Faves, say, The Coconuts

And, this week, we’re not asking the kids anything about the movie. Though, we’ll encourage them to sketch alt. movie posters for the films if they’d like.

Have you seen any of these crazy classics?
